Shooting Skills Training 2015

Kuantan, 3 September 2015 - Enforcement Unit Zone East Pahang Pahang Forestry Department has successfully implemented the Skills Training Shooting for senior officials and members of the uniformed bodies department at the Shooting Range Southeast Brigade General Operations Force (GOF), Camp Bukit Galing, Kuantan. YH. Dato 'Mohd Paiz bin Zimmermann, Director of Forestry, the State has officiated the program at 8.30 am followed by a briefing session on the use and handling of firearms discipline by Mr. ASP Amin bin Sidek from Bukit Galing Kem PGA. The department also received guidance and advice from Sergeant Major Hamdan bin Abdullah from the Firearms Unit, Kuantan district police headquarters for this training exercise. Before training starts, all participants took a pledge to use the shooting range as promised before training.

The program begins with registration at 8.00 am it was attended by 60 participants from various groups and grades of posts. The results of each participant also target shooting contest and the team of the Enforcement Unit Zone West Pahang emerged as the champion team event while Mr. Mohd. Khairul bin Abdullah, Bentong District Forest Officer emerged as the winner of the individual event. The winner of the women's individual event was won by Mrs. Zahariah binti Zainal Abidin, Assistant Director of Enforcement Zone East Pahang.
